The PIED program is a FREE group course for people aged 65 and over who are concerned about their risk of falling and want to improve their balance. The P.I.E.D. program is effective in :
– prevent falls
– improve your balance and leg strength
– help keep your bones healthy and reduce the risk of fractures
– guide you in setting up your home and adopting safe behaviours
– improve your confidence
– stay independent longer
P.I.E.D. is:
– 1 hour of group exercise on Tuesdays AND Thursdays for 12 weeks
AND
– Exercises to do at home
AND
– Information capsules on healthy lifestyle habits, safe behaviours and how to arrange your home to prevent falls

This is because you must first become a member and pay your annual dues.
